It’s been a few months since I’ve done an Adeline’s Favorites list. Here’s what we are loving lately!
Fun in the Sun
Step2 Rain Showers Water Table – This is a major hit. We got ours from Amazon, and it comes with a few small toys so you have everything you need once you set it up. It’s a great way for her to stay cool (and busy) in this summer heat.
Sterns Puddle Jumper – If your little one isn’t swimming on their own just yet, a puddle jumper is a no-brainer. It seems almost every kid I see at the pool has one of these on. They do a good job keeping the kids upright and afloat.
Babyganics Sunscreen – This is the sunscreen I’ve been using for Adeline this summer. I chose this one because it is a mineral sunscreen. Mineral sunscreens sit on top of the skin instead of being absorbed. This product is a bit tougher to rub in and leaves a white sheen if you don’t really rub it in, but honestly on my baby I appreciate knowing where I have applied it and where I haven’t. This has seemed to protect her well this summer.
SunShade Pop-Up Pool – This little pool is perfect for the back patio (or in our case – the pontoon boat!) We fill it up on the boat, and it keeps her more than occupied as we cruise around the lake. It’s inexpensive, requires no blowing up and has a sunshade.
Salt Water Sandals – I recently bought these sandals (in silver) for Adeline since she’s been outgrowing most of her shoes. These are adorable, go with everything and are a bit complicated for her to remove herself (what I was going for)!
Tiny Hair Elastics – Adeline has enough hair for a tiny pony tail now! We are using tiny elastics like these for her hair.
Made for Me by Zack Bush – I got this book for Marcus for Father’s Day. All three of us love it. I really think it makes a great gift for any dads with little ones.
Ikea Play Tunnel – We have this tunnel in our game room, and Adeline can’t get enough of it. We don’t leave it up all the time, so whenever we pull it out, it’s the new favorite.
Outlet Covers – These are the outlet covers we (and by we, I mean Marcus) chose to install throughout the house. No issues so far.
Magnetic Cabinet Locks – These are pretty great. Since we’ve only recently moved into our house, we were both hesitant to drill into our beautiful cabinets. These cabinet locks don’t require any drilling and work like a charm (as long as you don’t lose the magnet)!
Our girl also loves to wear necklaces and purses, put on our shoes, run in the sprinkler, climb on everything and eat all the snacks. She loves the pool, the park and especially the splash pad. I keep saying it, but I think this is my new favorite stage. She’s rocking her sign language, and we love hearing her say new words. She is a goof ball and has us laughing every day. We are having the time of our lives with her!
