Fall Tablescape Inspo

As the seasons change, I get a little urge to change up my decor. And as the holidays that are centered around meals like Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, it’s a great time to think about your fall tablescape.

For this table setting, which was featured in the November issue of Cypress Lifestyle, I wanted it to have an autumn vibe without being too obvious. To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of traditional fall colors (oranges, yellow and browns), so I went with pieces that felt more like me while still letting that adorable little pumpkin take center stage.

A few tips to make your Fall Tablescape special:

1. Add in a natural elements – I prefer some sort of fresh or faux greenery, but you can never go wrong with flowers!
2. Use different textures. The texture on the placemat and the water glass adds visual interest.
3. If you are doing a centerpiece of some sort, think about adding in different heights. I used three sizes of candle sticks.
4. Lighting is also a great touch, especially if it’s an evening meal. Candles are lovely (they can be real or battery operated). Twinkle lights are also a beautiful addition!
