Mango salsa just screams summertime to me! This four-ingredient salsa recipe is a crowd pleaser, and I promise that even those who aren’t comfortable in the kitchen can pull this one off.
Here’s what you need for one small batch (although, I recommend doubling it!):
- 1 mango, peeled
- 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 of a jalapeño, seeded
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Although I measured out what I feel are the perfect amounts of each ingredient, you really cannot mess this recipe up. If you want it more or less spicy, change the amount of jalapeño (or just leave in the seeds). If you aren’t crazy about cilantro, you can pull back there. Keep tweaking until it suits your taste. Just don’t forget the salt!
We usually eat this with chips, just like you would any other salsa, but it is also great over fish or chicken.
