Thank you to Towne Lake for sponsoring this post about the Towne Lake NYE party! As always, all opinions are always my own. Professional photography by Rischman Photography.

We rang in the new decade right here in our neighborhood, Towne Lake! This was Marcus and I’s fourth year to celebrate at the Towne Lake NYE Party, and we have a great time year after year.

My favorite thing about this year’s party was the theme! It was a blast to dress up in 20s costumes, and it was the perfect theme for a new years party since glitz and glam is already expected. I was really impressed with the participation too – SO many people dressed up!
My outfit and a few other 20’s options!

Fun Photo Ops!
Another fun part of the Towne Lake NYE party was the old fashioned car they had out front to take pictures with. It was absolutely perfect for the theme and made for a fabulous picture backdrop. Photos were taken by Rischman Photography.

Inside there was another photo opp with props! The photo printouts were in black and white for a fun, vintage look.

Towne Lake NYE Party Decorations and Gifts
Towne Lake went all out on the decor. Lots of gold, black and white. The tables were beautifully dressed! Another nice touch was each seat had a nice whisky glass with Towne Lake’s logo (shown in the picture below) as a take-home gift.

Dinner and Drinks
Our dinner was amazing! The served barbecue from Pappas, and it was spot on. There was smoked turkey, brisket, ribs, mashed potatoes and green beans. The portions were large and the food was delicious. There was a table of assorted desserts as well.

They had a FULL open bar, with lots of variety. Seriously something for everyone. They also had plenty of water bottles, which is so important when people are drinking.

Music and Dancing
Ziggyband was the evening’s live band, and they had a great set list! A good mix between the classics and more recent hits. Those who know me well know that the dancing is always my FAVORITE part of a party. That must be why we always gravitate towards a party like this for New Year’s Eve!

They had a balloon drop (with gift cards!) and then the big fireworks show at midnight. Towne Lake does NOT skimp when it comes to fireworks (their fourth of July fireworks are impressive too). People drive in from all over to see them from The Boardwalk Towne Lake, but we got front row seats seeing them from Towne Lake’s lake house.

And to finish it all off, they had honey butter chicken biscuits from Whataburger for everyone as we were heading out. These really hit the spot after all the dancing we did!

Overall Impression of the Towne Lake NYE Party
Tickets were $90/each and included a nice dinner, dessert, an open bar, a live band and a heck of a good time. We loved dressing up and dancing the night away with our friends. To us it was worth every penny!
Most importantly, though, I got to ring in the new decade with my best guy and some amazing friends I’ve made here in Towne Lake. I really believe that no matter where you are or what you do, the people make the fun. And this group was a ton of FUN!

I am so happy Towne Lake provides an option for residents to do something festive for New Years – right here in the neighborhood. Being only five minutes away from our house (and our kids at home with our sitter) gave us great peace of mind. I’m really thankful for that. Can’t wait to see what Towne Lake does next year!
