Later this week my sweet mom turns 60! We celebrated this milestone this past Sunday at Braman Winery with some of the most fun people we know!
Braman Winery in Richmond, Texas was a great venue to host a party. Although it kind of looks like a big warehouse on the outside, the inside is incredible! It has a lounge/bar feel, high ceilings and some really beautiful private event spaces.
We just grabbed some tables in the bar area, which was perfect for our group. Two other solid reasons to consider this as a place to host a party – there is no rental fee if you are in the common areas AND you can bring in your own food, non alcoholic beverages and desserts. Lastly, their wine and beer is good too!
You all know how much I like finding and supporting local bakers, and this time I used The Bearded Baker out of Cypress customized for decorated cookies. They were soft, chewy and beautiful – definitely crowd pleasers!
The cake is from our tried and true HEB bakery, and the cake topper was an Amazon find!
As a little guestbook for Janet to take home, we had her friends share memories and reasons why they love her. That jar was full by the end of the party! 
It is so fun to celebrate my mom, and you can tell by the turnout at this party that she is loved by so many. She’s usually the one planning and throwing the parties, so it was fun to turn the tables on her for 60th birthday! We love you, Gigi!
