There are only a couple more weeks until we get to celebrate or be celebrated as Moms. By now I am sure you have seen 500 gift guides floating around, so I wanted to share some unique Mother’s Day gift ideas that Moms actually want to receive. These are all things that I have received or personally would love to get.
Hampr
If you haven’t heard of Hampr, it is a laundry delivery app (genius, I know). All you have to do is download their app and set a pickup time and boom! their magic laundry fairies will pick up your laundry and have it returned to you in 24 hours. If are looking for a unique Mother’s Day gift idea, a year membership to Hampr would be a great idea. You can also use the code JANELLE10 for 10% off a membership.

Silhouette Necklace
Another gift a mom would LOVE to receive is a silhouette necklace from Vana Chupp Studio. The jewelry company takes a photo of your child to create a custom silhouette necklace. These are a higher price point but the jewelry is an heirloom piece that can also be added on to over the years with multiple children. I have one and truly love it!

Massage or Facial Appointment
How many times as a mom have you received a gift card for somewhere and it has just sat in your wallet? You want to use it but actually making the appointment and arranging child care makes it more of a chore than a nice treat. The best gift a mom can receive is a pre-planned, already booked self-care appointment WITH child care arranged. Bonus points if you combine more than one service, and double bonus points if you throw in a night at a hotel!

If you have a Massage Heights in your area, the introductory massage is usually heavily discounted. That would be a great gift that no mom would turn down! See where they have locations here.
If you are local to Cypress, I have some great facialist options (send me a dm on instagram)! A great local childcare option is the drop-in service at Adventure Kids Playcare. Learn more about it here.
Date Night
Another Mother’s Day gift idea moms would actually want is a fully planned date night! A true gift is removing some of that mental load and making all of the plans for her. It could be drinks, a lunch or dinner reservation at a restaurant, or tickets to a concert or comedy show. Any of those WITH babysitting already booked would be well appreciated! Another similar option would be setting up a brunch or outing with your wife’s friends (a good way to go if finding childcare is a struggle).
Other Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
At a minimum, grab some flowers from your local grocery store for the mom(s). I think Costco has an incredible floral department if you happen to be a member! And moms, if you see something on here that you would want make sure you save this post and send it to your other half!
