I’m excited to share about a fun run coming up, with an extremely worthy cause! Annabelle’s Run is a 5K run/1K walk happening VIRTUALLY on Saturday, April 17th. Everyone will complete the run or walk in their neighborhood due to the ongoing pandemic and all proceeds will go to the GNAO1 research and the Bow Foundation.
The goal is to raise money for the GNAO1 mutation, an extremely rare diagnosis that causes developmental delays, seizures, and movement disorders. You can read more about Annabelle (the inspiration for this fundraiser), her family, and her journey with the GNAO1 mutation here.
The virtual run donation is $25 for ages 20 and below and $40 for those over 21. All proceeds will go to The Bow Foundation to support research to help find a cure for the GNAO1 mutation.
Even if you’d prefer to not participate in the run/walk, you can still help out! You can donate directly to The Bow Foundation or simply offer your prayers for a cure. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer. If you’ve made it this far into the post, will you take a quick pause and send some prayers up? I ask you to pray for Annabelle and the others diagnosed with the GNAO1 mutation, for the success of this fundraiser, and ultimately for the researchers searching for a cure?
If you have any questions about the event or the diagnosis, you can contact Annabelle’s Amazing Graces here. You can always keep up with Annabelle’s journey on Instagram and Facebook.
